Association of American Medical College
The AAMC is a founding member – along with the American Hospital Association and the Federation of American Hospitals – of the Hospital Quality Alliance. The HQA is a public-private partnership between hospitals and community groups that are working to provide data on hospital quality outcomes to the federal government. All eligible AAMC-member teaching hospitals have provided quality outcomes data for this effort. The latest HQA initiative will provide online information to consumers that will allow them to compare quality data from different hospitals in their community.
